VTR-400: "Standard format"(?) reel to reel
portapack VTR and camera. Camera weighed 5-1/4 lbs and had a 5:1 zoom lens.
Apparently had playback capability according to the advertising copy ~
this is doubtful. I strongly suspect this is a duplicate of the Panasonic
NV-3080/WV-8080 record-only outfit. More info desired here. Photo &

VTR-3000: New photo &
info! This VTR offers 450 lines of resolution. It appears to be
a 1" VTR. The advertising copy billed it as a mastering machine with the
following additional features: Color capable, electronic editing, built
RF distribution system, dual audio tracks that could be recorded independently,
slow motion and still frame. It sure is pretty. Looks like a Panasonic
NV-204C to me! Model year 1968. Info & Photo Matt Patoray. |
